PRIVACY INFORMATION ACT FOR SENDING CVs
European Regulation EU/2016/679
In order to send your curriculum vitae to our company, we invite you to read the information below and give your consent to the processing of “special” data, where necessary.
ABOUT US
The Controller of your personal data is ARGUS SECURITY SRL, with registered office in Via del Canneto, 14 – 34015 – Muggia (TS) – VAT number IT03225090962.
The contact details for exercising your rights are as follows: Phone (+39) 040.23.96.411 – Fax. (+39) 040.28.23.483 – e-mail: info@argussecurity.it
PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASES OF THE PROCESSING
When you spontaneously send your Curriculum Vitae, or during the personnel selection interview, the company acquires – also verbally – and may process your personal data (personal details, address, mobile and non-mobile telephone numbers, qualifications, work experience, tax and social security data, etc.), even without your specific consent, and this for pre-contractual purposes connected with and instrumental to the examination of your application. The provision of such data, although optional, is therefore necessary to fulfil your specific request to submit your application for evaluation.
When acquiring information, it may happen that the company processes data that the legislation defines as “Special” (e.g. your state of health, or the indication of a protected category). We therefore ask you to express, or not, your consent to the processing of such data. Any refusal to provide your consent may make it objectively impossible for the Company to process your application.
METHODS OF PROCESSING
The data will be entered into an electronic database and/or stored in paper files.
The data will not be subject to any automated decisions-making process, nor will profiling of any type take place.
RECIPIENTS OF THE DATA
The personal data may be disclosed to the company’s collaborators and employees as persons authorised to perform processing operations and specially instructed to do so.
The data may be communicated to external parties (e.g. labour consultants and doctors, tax consultants, lawyers, consultancy companies, data processing and IT services companies, etc.) for the pre-contractual purposes outlined above, should the need for their involvement arise. The same persons will act as autonomous Data Controllers, or will be appointed as Data Processors.
The personal data processed through the website are managed and stored by GlobalizeMe UK Ltd, a company registered with the Companies Registry in England and Wales under the number 06809325, whose official address is: 38 Sanderum House, 38 Oakley Road, Chinnor, Oxfordshire, England, OX39 4TW, duly appointed as Data Processor. Please note that the European Commission has allowed the transfer of data from the EU to the UK; the decision under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the decision under the Directive on Data Protection in Police and Judicial Activities (LED) both allow the transfer of data from the EU to the UK, as the UK currently offers a level of data protection that is roughly equivalent to that offered in the EU.
The personal data will not be subject to dissemination.
DATA RETENTION TIME
The company will keep your data for a period of 24 months and will then proceed with their deletion.
RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
You have the right to exercise the rights of articles 15-21 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, that can be summarised as follows: the right to request access to the data and their rectification from the company, or their erasure or the restriction of the processing that concerns you, or object to their processing, as well as the right to the portability of such data.
It is your right to revoke your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given prior to revocation.
If the reply to your requests is not exhaustive, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, with registered office at Piazza Venezia no. 11 – 00187 Rome.
