This information will let you know in detail how the personal data you provide us with through the form will be processed.

THE TYPE AND NATURE OF DATA BEING PROCESSED

When filling in the form on the website, data of a personal nature will be collected, i.e. data enabling your identification, even indirectly, such as your first name, surname, country, telephone number, e-mail, or other data that you voluntarily provide when filling in the free “Message” space.

 

PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS FOR LAWFUL PROCESSING

The data collected will be used for the following purposes:

  • to enable us to issue information at your request or to make an appointment.
  • for the execution of pre-contractual measures connected with and instrumental to the transmission of information on our activity and services.
  • to manage any relationship with you from a contractual, accounting, fiscal point of view;

Data of a common nature may be processed even without your specific consent, and this in order to fulfil your requests and for pre-contractual and contractual purposes connected with and instrumental to the requested service, as well as to comply with the related legal obligations to which the Data Controller is subject.

You are free to provide your data or not, but without the requested data it will not be possible to conclude or implement the service and your requests.

 

METHODS AND PLACE OF PROCESSING AND RETENTION PERIOD

Your data are processed on our premises using data transmission, paper, electronic or automated means and is carried out by authorised and instructed persons within the limits of the task assigned to them, for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data were collected.

Your data, in particular, will be retained for the duration of the contract, if any, and thereafter for the time necessary to fulfil tax obligations, or for other purposes required by law or regulation. If no contract is concluded, the data will be deleted 12 months after collection.

 

COMMUNICATION AND DISSEMINATION OF THE DATA

Your personal data may be disclosed to the following categories of persons:

  1. a) to our suppliers with whom we cooperate to provide you with the requested service;
  2. b) to data processing and IT services companies, companies operating web platforms, professionals, consulting companies or firms, companies providing services for the performance of the contract.

Such subjects will operate in the capacity of autonomous Controllers, or will be appointed as Data Processors with a dedicated contract or legal deed.

Subjects to whom this right is granted by law or regulations (e.g. public security authorities) may also have access to the data.

The data will not be subject to any automated decisions-making process, nor will profiling of any type take place.

The personal data via the website are managed and stored by GlobalizeMe UK Ltd, a company registered in the Commercial Register in England and Wales under the number 06809325, whose official address is: 38 Sanderum House, 38 Oakley Road, Chinnor, Oxfordshire, England, OX39 4TW, duly appointed as Data Processor. Please note that the European Commission has allowed the transfer of data from the EU to the UK; the decision under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the decision under the Directive on Data Protection in Police and Judicial Activities (LED) both allow the transfer of data from the EU to the UK, as the UK currently offers a level of data protection that is roughly equivalent to that offered in the EU.

The personal data will not be subject to dissemination.

 

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

Your rights include the right to:

  • request access to your personal data and information relating to them; rectification of inaccurate data or supplementation of incomplete data; erasure of personal data (upon the occurrence of one of the conditions indicated in art. 17, paragraph 1 of the GDPR and in compliance with the exceptions provided for in paragraph 3 of the same article); the restriction of the processing of personal data (in the event of one of the hypotheses indicated in art. 18, paragraph 1 of the GDPR);
  • request and obtain – where the legal basis of the processing is a contract or consent, and the processing is carried out by automated means – the personal data in a structured, machine-readable format, also for the purpose of communicating such data to another data controller (so-called right to data portability);
  • object at any time to the processing of personal data, including profiling, in the event of special situations concerning you;
  • revoke consent at any time, limited to cases where processing is based on consent for one or more specific purposes and concerns common personal data (e.g. date and place of birth or place of residence), or special categories of data (e.g. data revealing health or sex life). Processing based on consent and carried out prior to the revocation of consent nevertheless retains its lawfulness;
